Element Ensemble Wind of Moon by Zwei Trial is a vertical shooter with some RPG elements. Your character can take several hits before succumbing to injuries, as indicated by the HP display at the bottom of the screen. Damage inflicted is a variable by itself.

Sounds like a marriage made in heaven but the two minute demo ends too soon and does not showcase the game's potential well enough. Spellcasting looks to play a major role but the player does not get to explore this option much in the trial version.
