Tikiballs: Curse of Tane is an interesting Flash offering from Urbansquall, creator of the popular online Advance Wars clone called Battalion.

The objective of the game is to bounce a tikiball to the exit by drawing paddles using the mouse. A mix of gameplay elements from both iWin's Incredible Ink and Ikaruga, you can alternate between a dark or light tikiball by pressing the space bar. The tikiball can only destroy bricks of the opposite color, and absorb green balls of the same color as indicated by it's circled star. The only way to touch red balls safely without losing a life is by matching it's color before bouncing off them.

Some levels require certain tasks to be completed, such as breaking a number of blocks or absorbing green balls of a particular color. These requirements are outlined by the four icons shown on the right side of the screen.

You can use the magic bottle to trade for power-ups such as a magnet to attract the tikiball to your cursor, temporary invulnerability, superballs which destroy bricks with one touch and even extra lives. Fill up the bottle by destroying bricks or absorbing green balls. Unfortunately, the extra lives do not carry over to the next stage.
