Gikoparo 5 is a horizontal-scrolling shooter by nemu90kWw. As the name suggests, it's actually a parody of Konami's Parodius, which in itself is a comical remake of the Gradius series featuring an assortment of weird and outrageous characters.

The game offers two protagonists to choose from and an array of weapons to use. Press the left shift key to activate rapid fire, hold the Z key to charge up your special weapon and tap the C key to select a power-up.

One problem is that the display is rather small, although this can be solved temporarily by setting the screen to a lower resolution. A download version is available as well.
