The third episode in the Fedora Spade series has been released. If you played the first two, you'll probably like this one. If you haven't, it's an adventure game with a detective motif: you have to search for and gather clues to solve a case.

Orchard-L also began requesting donations with this game. He lives in Indonesia, where most people make only a few dollars a day. So donations to him would go a long way.

Name: Fedora Spade: Death Wears a Fedora
Developer: RPGCreations
Category: Detective/Adventure
Type: Freeware, but donations requested
Size: 3MB

Thanks for the heads up.

Nice, very nice. Any place I could find a walkthrough or some hints, though? I seem to be missing notes 1 and 4, and can't really progress the plot. I've even tried interrogating Theo now...

Hi,

pkt-zer0, you can get the FAQ here: http://www.studioeres.com/fedora/FAQ.rar

Please keep in mind that this is very rough at best. If you still need any help with the game, just let me know :).

Thanks, that did it just fine.
Was a pretty good episode, I liked how your options were increased with the word-input puzzles and the interrogations Though I wish you'd just get to unraveling parts of Fedora Spade's dark past a bit sooner. :)

Thanks, and yeah, I'll do that soon enough. Unraveling Fedora's past, I mean. I think I was still thinking in terms of Phoenix Wright for the episode format:
Episode 1 - intro episode.
Episode 2, 3 - filler episodes with some foreshadowing.
Episode 4 - the finale.

Am really enjoying these - but there's a point where you have to enter dates in a number and hyphen format. And for some reason it doesn't recognise my hyphen (-) key! So I can't enter the dates required. Will this prevent me uncovering a vital clue? If so any ideas on what I can do about it?
