Well, it looks nice and smooth...VERY close to the original.

I especially like that screen-shake when you use a hidden passage. :)

Ignore the look of the graphics for now, they're only placeholders. The finished version will be lavished with loveliness.

Is it just me, or do the enemies have no influence on the player? Looks like he can walk right through them without getting hurt.

You are quite correct, the enemies have no effect on the player. You may have also noticed that it's not available for download yet, because it ain't finished :)

Hehe, I would've guessed that'd be one of the first things to implement (after colission detection). Different people, different methods, I guess ;)

Yep, too true. As it happens, the collision detection (of the pixel perfect variety) is already in there, I just ain't coded those nasties to be nasty yet!

I'll make sure the next vid contains nasty nasties :o)
