Articles

The Indies is a bi-weekly feature written by James Fudge which focuses on a collection of complete (and incomplete) Sourceforge projects, casual games, shareware and the occasional free stuff.

He has also interviewed several luminaries from the scene, for example Mr. Greg Costikyan (of Manifesto Games) and the infamous (?) Mat Dickie of MDickie.com.

Blackwell Unbound is nearly done, and would be made available for purchase from Wadjet Eye Games' web site very soon. Should be out around the same time as Erin Robinson's Nanobots.

Clarification: it's not a "Top 50" list, as I clearly state on the page. Feel free to tear into it however you wish, but it's not a ranked list.

I like the list. I think it represents the indie scene really well. :)

MDickie may be narcissistic, but he's brilliantly so:

"People assume I'm quite courageous for starting my own business, but there's actually a lot of cowardice involved. I'm just as scared of NOT achieving something as other people are about going out and doing it. The same emotion just drives us in different directions."
