With the recent releases of Pushover, Clockwiser and X-It Again, remakes of classic puzzlers have set the bar extremely high for others to follow. One Step Beyond is a solid effort that manages to get just about everything right. The objective of the game is basically to guide Curly to the solitary exit in each stage, which can only be activated when all other platforms have been retracted.

You'll be alternating between two actions to solve most of the problems, a short hop and a giant leap by holding down the control key. Recommended for fans of the original.
