Another Konami classic, the F-1 Spirit Remake is a niche racing game that will only appeal to fans of the original. Each track consists of several laps to complete, and requires plenty of practice just to squeeze in a top finish.

Not a bad effort but one that will not be appreciated by many, even with new features not found in it's predecessor.

Name: F-1 Spirit Remake
Developer: Brain Games
Category: Action
Type: Freeware
Size: 20MB

never played the original but I'm enjoying this a lot more than some recent 3d racers...

Oh yes, bird's eye view racers were what mankind was created for (by a space-robots race)...

I disagree only fans of the original will like this game.

Yes, it requires practice, and yes, it does require you to use the BRAKES (something few bird´s eyes view racers require). But after you get the grasp of how to play, its an immensely satisfying game. The problem is that people expect bird-eye view racers to be very arcade-like and easy, but this is the closest you will get to a simulation in a non-3d game...

If you like simplicity and EASINESS, go to Road Fighter instead...
