Origami is working on a new RPG, but it's not a sequel to Last Scenario. Several early screenshots from Exit Fate were recently released to the public, and a demo can be expected in a few months' time. As described by the developer:

- Exit Fate is made using RPGMaker.
- All character battle sprites, portraits and special images are original.
- Nearly all enemy sprites and bosses are original.

Just so anyone that reads this knows, Origami released the demo a few days ago. Should be easy to find.

just finished the demo, really can't wait for this to be released! there's a lot of funky new features: upgradable weapons, bribes to avoid encounters, an intruiging magic system where you gain mana throughout fights, and can cast spells only a certain number of times (unused healing spells are used post battle automatically), a more advanced formation system, slots for up to 2 non-team characters (known as your entourage), and it seems, up to 6 team characters in battle at once!

wow, what else can I say, this is gonna be great!

I do have one little gripe, although that's likely down to personal tastes, I'm not a fan of the 'tactics' style battles.. but maybe that's just me :P
