Makes me sad that this kind of talent is being used to make a Starfox game. I'd rather these guys made something in the spirit of Starfox, so as not to anger the gods of Cease & Desist (i.e. Nintendo).

Well said, wildweasel. I'd try to stay away from actively used copyrighted material, like the StarFox name (and maybe even the main ship design). It would be sad if it shared the same fate as the chrono trigger 3D project.

It does look amazing, though.

It just looks like Freespace 2 in 3rd person camera mode to me. Not that that isn't awesome in itself. It just seems odd to put all that effort in a game taking place in a silly furry anime world while the FSO Star Wars project languishes.

I on my part would find it odd to put all that effort into a Star Wars project when there is a crapload of titles marketed under that franchise on the PC, while there are none when it comes to the Starfox universe... I hope that Nintendo won't sue their arses off like e.g. Funimation closed down the Bid for Power MOD for Q3 - even though its makers actively avoided using copyrighted material (some bloke made 3rd party models of Dragonball Characters and that seemed to be enough...).
