Two very interesting videos highlighted by GameSetWatch this month. The first one is a thirty minute recording from the Independent Games Summit held at the Game Developers Conference 2007. This particular clip features Russell Carroll (of GameTunnel and Reflexive Entertainment) as he talks about marketing independently-developed games, how to manipulate the press and casual game portals, publishing, distribution and advertising.

The second video is in a less serious tone, as the popular Consolevania team investigates the current state of games development in Scotland and manages to piece together nearly an hour's worth of barely watchable film footage from their misadventures. Highlights include conversations with participating students from Dare to be Digital, and a trailer from FLUX by Play Technologies.
