Puzzles are much easier compared to it's predecessors though certain screen exits can be easily missed at first glance.

There's one scene with pixelated nudity, so approach with caution.

Keep up with the good work ;) Stranded 2 Better cultivate hemp. You'll see a wonderful picture there after a good smoke :)
And try to make a crossbow. This sounds like my kind of game. And, though I have not played it, seems similar to Lost in Blue (DS). I'll be downloading it momentarily... A game with a really steep learning curve. I pass. Great game, easily moddable too.

Image how do you make a shovel? i've planted 216 grape vines and get 2000 a day but can't make a saw because i need a shovel to get sand to make grindstone can anyone tell me how to cultivate? i cant manage to put the stuff in the ground.. argh, what do i need besides bark and a fireplace/firepit to make fire? you make fire using the hammer branch and stone but first u need a shelter to unlock the camp fire

to plant grain use the sheaf to get grain take it in your hand an press action key default e than when its big chop it down if u have lots set it on fire the fire will spread so don't put it to close to things u want to keep and watch out for grasshoppers how do i make pic axe and i need to make paper but i don't know how
please tell I have heaps of hemp leafs and tons of grain on day 45 now and i am goin well A Tale of Two Kingdoms This game totally rocks!!! Based on forum buzz, it may make sense to wait a month or so before playing this, as there are still major bugs being ironed out. (The game sounds like it's winnable, it's just also glitchy.) The main character is ugly. The gameplay's great though. Definitely worth a look. I agree. The portrait of a priest was probably the best one of the pack, but the rest was all over the shop.

I'm not too fond of the gameplay (wasn't a fan of Hero's Quest series), but after playing a couple of chapters I have a feeling that a few of us might like it. :) didn't like the gameplay. too many illogical and forced puzzles. eg, why would a king lose his scepter in/under a vase, that is lying in the middle of the floor? doesn't make sense. and noboby has seen that vase lyign there at all? and getting an invisible nail in a doorframe while you have to get away quickly? thanks for the walkthrough for that one. and how didn't that guard see you standing right there next to the door when the statue fell to the ground? he must be blind. the game just isn't very well designed.
and a lot of times it just wasn't clear what i should be doing, and some of the backgrounds are really inconsistent. those in the city just isn't anywhere near sierra quality looking, i'm referring to the backgrounds where you walk in the city streets. but then there is that beautiful background at the faeries, and the one just south of the monastery.
portraits: goblins were done really well, others looked like they were done by someone else who uses too much reference to the point where you can recognise the source material.
it just feels like the authors listened to a lot of "how adventures games should be like" discussions, and just threw everything in they heard, from multiple solutions to puzzles, multiple endings, to non-linearity, etc etc.
and i was most disappointed by the commentary. it was really light. basic facts. no real behind the scene stuff. would have loved to hear from the musicians and artists, the guys who actually made the game.
and WHY bring in cuppit? it just breaks the whole game's credibility to bring in a talking blue cup from a completely different game that tries to be funny, but ends up being annoying. You guys absolutely pull no punches when it comes to criticism. :) I wish I've seen more of these opinions in the AGS boards, but unfortunately most of them seem to be interested in congratulating the authors.

I'm sure some of the developers would be here to read the comments, so your effort in typing the entire thing out won't be wasted. :)

And the blue cup joke has to die. Really. Well, it's been less than a month, but the major bugs have been ironed out. Updated to v1.2, as of today. Fate by Numbers A noir game, eh? I'll have to try and download this - I love noir! I've got the torrent going at a decent enough speed, so I'll give you my first impressions in 2 hours and 26 minutes :D Yep, torrent is well seeded at the moment:-) Wow. A 1.2G download, followed by a lengthy unzip to reveal an .iso that installs the game. Long process, but the game really is worth it. The atmosphere is amazing, a black and white futuristic sci-fi noir film with deep western-style music like you would hear on Firefly. Definitely draws you in.

As far as adventure games go, it's pretty standard fare: search for clues, examine stuff, pick up items, etc. Puzzles are about average difficulty. You have a few gadgets that are fun to use, such as the photo enhancer.

As far as the FMV presentation, it isn't perfect (jaggies!), and it's used mostly for cutscenes large and small. Everything else: standard point and click. The acting is decent, which helps keep things interesting.

Definitely worth checking out if you have any interest in adventure games. Kind of a big process to get it running, but it's all good. :-) Yep, torrent is well seeded at the moment:-)

What do you know about well seeded torrents? A well seeded torrent is when there are like a hundred hot Swedish chicks with T3 connections seeding a file and you're the only leecher. :-D Nice game. Perfect style with some touch of Blade Runner (image enhancer puzzle). And this one has several endings.

But the gameplay itself seems rather easy... I was expecting trouble on some screens but everything was solved with a couple of clicks without even touching the hint button. You can't fail and die, though that was a pretty feature of older FMV adventures. Started downloading. Review to follow soon. Wow this game is amazing :o) Another Room 1. Turn left, get the pink cat figurine.
2. Open the left shelf and get the log.
3. Open the right shelf and get the power cord.
4. Click to the lower right of the shelving unit and get the can of oil.
5. Go left. Click under the newspaper to get matches.
6. Click the cabinet where the wineglass is to get the paintbrush.
7. Go left twice and click under the hat to get the coin.
8. Go right twice back to the white chair. Go to the panel behind the chair.
9. Use the coin to open the lock, get the axe.
10. Use the axe on the logs to make blocks.
11. Put the blocks in the fireplace.
12. Use the coin on the oil can to open it.
13. Use oil on blocks in the fireplace.
14. Use matches on the blocks to start the fire.
15. Click left twice to the desk.
16. Search the trashcan to get the clip.
17. Click on the clip to straighten it out.
18. Go back to the door with the bars. Open the panel and use the clip on the reset hole.
19. Go back to the fireplace, open the clock and get the key.
20. Use the key on the box on the shelf to get the cell phone.
21. Click on the screen of the phone to get the color code. Input that color code in the panel.
22. Go back to the white chair. Use the brush in the cup.
23. Go to the easel with the board. Use the brush on the board to reveal the 1st code.
24. Use the phone. There should be mail on the phone to get the login for the laptop.
24. Go back to the desk, use the power cord on the laptop. Press the power button on the laptop. You should now see the screen with boxes.
25. USe the 1st code from the board.
26. The bars on the door should open.
27. Go back to the easel and get the 2nd code.
28. Enter the code in the laptop. The laptop will open to get the chip.
29. Get the chip and combine the chip with the pink cat figurine.
30. Return to the main door. Use the axe on the glass to smash it.
31. Enter the opening.
32. Put the cat on the "biohazard" stand. Covert Front I played this the other day; well above average for the genre :) If you liked this one, he's done a lot more, and they are all online. Check out the "Submachine" series. He's done 4 of them. Recently he released a really hard one called "Daymare Town".
