The guy that is making The Undertaking also has another project in the works titled Katakijin. It essentially looks like it's going to be a exploration slash 'em up platformer. Since 64 digits finally re-surfaced, he posted a small demo and Youtube clip.

It looks like a seiklus-meets Ninja Gaiden Type thing. I tried out the demo and it has a solid combo system going. I found out you can press space to cancel recovery attacks and then go straight into an attack. Pretty cool.

The combos themselves a pretty hard to pull of though as they reset way too fast. I wasn't much of a fan of the character design but it's just me.

The demo was just way too short too and I crashed the game when I ran to the left side of the screen.
